Q’STALLIONS MAKE PROMISING DEBUT IN NAASCU HIPHOP COMPETITION

The NAASCU dance competitions featured three major categories — Dancesport, Cheering Squad, and HipHop — bringing together some of the most talented collegiate performers. MLQU entered the HipHop category for the first time on April 11, 2026, signaling the University’s growing presence in the performing arts arena.

Despite being first-time participants, the Q’Stallions delivered a powerful and energetic performance, securing 4th Place among a competitive field of institutions that included :

• Philippine Christian University – Champion
• Clare College of Caloocan – 2nd Place
• University of Makati – 3rd Place
• Manuel L. Quezon University – 4th Place
• Our Lady of Fatima University – 5th Place
• New Era University – 6th Place

For a debut performance, this achievement reflects the team’s dedication, discipline, and strong potential. It also underscores MLQU’s commitment to holistic student development, nurturing not only academic excellence but also talent, creativity, and teamwork.

More than the ranking, the experience has provided the Q’Stallions with a solid foundation as they continue to refine their craft and represent MLQU in future competitions.

This milestone is just the beginning, one that sets the stage for even greater performances in the years ahead.
