November Message

Greetings to all!

October was indeed a meaningful and productive month for Manuel L. Quezon University. One of the key highlights was the successful launch of the Manuel L. Quezon Academy (MLQA), in collaboration with the Bayan Family of Foundations. MLQA is a hub designed to foster entrepreneurship and enhance academic offerings, especially within our School of Business. Through this partnership, we aim to equip our students with the skills and mindset needed to thrive in today’s competitive world. We are thrilled to see this initiative come to life and look forward to the opportunities and advancements it will bring to our university community.

We also took part in celebrating National Mental Health Month, recognizing the importance of well-being and resilience for both students and faculty. This was a chance to underscore our commitment to a supportive environment, with resources and programs dedicated to fostering mental wellness.

As we entered November, we took a brief pause to honor our departed loved ones on November 1 and 2. Additionally, the recent Typhoon Kristine led to several days of class suspension. To ensure our academic schedule remains uninterrupted, we have planned makeup classes, which will allow us to recover the missed days and keep our learning progress on track.

In the midst of these activities, I am especially excited about the ongoing strategic planning that our management team is undertaking to shape the direction of MLQU over the next five years. This roadmap will guide us toward new milestones and achievements, and I am confident that it promises an exciting future for all of us.

Let us continue to work together to build a brighter path for MLQU. The establishment of MLQA is only the beginning, as we explore more partnerships and innovative approaches to education that will prepare our students for the demands of a rapidly evolving world.
