MLQU School of Law Conducts Intensive Mock Bar Examination as Part of Its Year-Round Bar Preparation Program for Future Lawyers

The Manuel L. Quezon University School of Law has successfully completed the first two days of its intensive three-day Mock Bar Examination for graduating law students at the MLQU-VST Campus — demonstrating once again its strong commitment to producing bar-ready, practice-ready, and profession-ready graduates.

At MLQU, bar preparation is not treated as a last-minute review activity. It is a comprehensive, year-round program strategically embedded into the School of Law’s academic and mentoring framework to ensure that students are prepared for the bar examinations from the very beginning of their final year and beyond.

The Mock Bar Examination forms a critical component of this preparation ecosystem, immersing students in a realistic simulation of the actual bar examination environment. Through full-length examinations under bar-like conditions, students build the stamina, discipline, and mental resilience required to perform under pressure while identifying areas for further improvement before the actual examinations.

To help students stay focused and energized throughout the rigorous simulation, unlimited coffee and food were provided during the examination days — reflecting the School’s holistic approach to student support and wellness during the demanding bar preparation process.

What sets the MLQU School of Law apart is its strong mentoring culture, particularly designed to support its predominantly working-student population. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by students balancing legal studies with professional and personal responsibilities, MLQU has developed a law program tailored to the realities of working learners — combining academic rigor with structured support, accessible faculty mentorship, and responsive academic interventions.

Through close faculty engagement, personalized guidance, and a deeply supportive academic environment, students receive not only doctrinal instruction but also the mentorship, coaching, and motivation necessary to thrive in one of the country’s most demanding academic programs.

This student-centered and mentoring-driven approach has become a defining strength of the MLQU School of Law and continues to attract aspiring lawyers seeking a legal education institution that understands the realities of modern learners while refusing to compromise on standards of excellence.

For working professionals and aspiring law students looking for a law school that offers rigorous legal training, year-round bar preparation, and a mentoring environment built for working students, the MLQU School of Law stands as a compelling choice.

At MLQU, future lawyers are not simply taught the law — they are mentored, challenged, and prepared to live the University’s enduring motto:

Pro Patria et Jure — For Country and Law.
