MLQU Men’s Volleyball Team Debuts with Strong Showing in NAASCU Qualifiers

Last Saturday, March 15, 2026, the MLQU Men’s Volleyball Team saw action for the first time since its recent organization, as it began its campaign to qualify for the NAASCU Men’s Volleyball Competition.

Facing a formidable opponent in last year’s runner-up, Our Lady of Fatima University, the team demonstrated grit, determination, and strong team spirit throughout the match. While the game did not result in a win, the Stallions delivered a commendable performance, showing great potential and promise for the upcoming season.

More than the outcome of the game, the match underscored the true value of sports —discipline, resilience, respect, and sportsmanship. The team’s ability to compete with composure, support one another, and uphold the spirit of fair play reflects the kind of character MLQU aims to develop in its student-athletes.

The match, hosted by Philippine Christian University, marked an important milestone for the newly formed team — signaling the start of MLQU’s renewed presence in men’s volleyball.

With this initial experience, the team looks forward to further strengthening its lineup, sharpening its skills, and representing MLQU with pride in future competitions.

Padayon, Stallions!
