Manuel L. Quezon University capped its 78th Foundation Anniversary with a dynamic and weeklong celebration filled with camaraderie, competition, and Quezonian pride. From November 17 to 21, 2025, students from all schools and programs gathered at the main campus and the Victoria Sports Tower to take part in this year’s Foundation Week and Intramurals — an engaging blend of academic events, sports tournaments, creativity showcases, and personality competitions.

This year’s theme, “One Beat. One Spirit. One League – Celebrate MLQU @78”, reflected MLQU’s enduring commitment to unity, excellence, and holistic student development across academics, athletics, arts, and leadership.

The artistic and rhythmic expression of the participants embodied the heart of the MLQU spirit — creative, bold, and united.

The Grand Highlight: The Search for Mr. and Ms. MLQU 2025

Crowning the entire week’s celebration was the Personality Contest for Mr. and Ms. MLQU, an event celebrating confidence, intelligence, charisma, and leadership — the hallmarks of a true Quezonian.

After a captivating showcase of talent, wit, and poise, two outstanding students were hailed as MLQU Ambassadors for 2025:

  • Ms. MLQU 2025: Ms. Mary Keith Mayores

School of Business

Both will serve as representatives of MLQU in future engagements, embodying the values of excellence, integrity, and service.
