MLQU Alumni Association Grants Law School Scholarship to Magna Cum Laude Valedictorian

The Manuel L. Quezon University Alumni Association, Inc. (MLQUAI) has extended its continuing support to academic excellence and student aspirations by granting a full scholarship to Ms. Jaycel Dominique A. Crisostomo, a distinguished graduate of Batch 2025, for her pursuit of a Juris Doctor degree at the MLQU School of Law.

Ms. Crisostomo graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Bachelor of Science in Legal Management program and was the valedictorian of her graduating class. During the commencement exercises held in June 2025, she delivered a moving valedictory address where she expressed her heartfelt desire to pursue a legal career. Inspired by her words and impressed by her academic record, the MLQU Alumni Association did not hesitate to act.

In a brief but meaningful ceremony, MLQUAI President Atty. Fidel Racasa personally handed over a check to cover Ms. Crisostomo’s tuition for the first semester of School Year 2025-2026. “We believe in nurturing the dreams of our graduates and giving back to those who show both excellence and promise,” said Atty. Racasa. “Jaycel represents the best of what MLQU stands for—resilience, discipline, and a passion for service through the law.”

Currently, Ms. Crisostomo is working as a paralegal in a private law firm, gaining valuable experience in the legal field while preparing for the rigorous demands of law school. Her story stands as a testament to MLQU’s commitment to academic opportunity, the strong support of its alumni network, and the enduring value of service and scholarship.

Through this initiative, the MLQUAI continues to reaffirm its role not only as a network of alumni but as a vital force for student advancement and institutional pride.
