A Testament to Grit, Discipline, and a Culture of Academic Support
Manuel L. Quezon University (MLQU) proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of its 2025 Bar Examination passers, recording an impressive 84.8% passing average — a milestone that reflects both academic excellence and extraordinary personal resilience.
This accomplishment is no mean feat, especially considering that the majority of MLQU’s Bar takers are working students. Many of them balanced the rigors of full-time or part-time employment with the intense demands of Bar review, nightly study sessions, weekend classes, and sustained preparation over several months. Their success stands as a powerful testament to perseverance, discipline, and the unwavering pursuit of professional excellence.
The University’s performance in the 2025 Bar Examinations affirms the strength of MLQU’s legal education framework — one that integrates rigorous academic instruction, continuous Bar readiness initiatives, mentoring, and institutional support systems tailored to the realities of today’s law students.
“This year’s results demonstrate that excellence is possible even under the most demanding circumstances,” MLQU Chairman and President, Atty. Paquito N. Ochoa, Jr. stressed. “Our Bar passers are not only intellectually capable; they are resilient, focused, and deeply committed to their professional goals. Their success brings pride to the entire MLQU community,” he added.
MLQU’s School of Law has, in recent years, intensified its efforts to institutionalize year-round Bar Operations, ensuring that students receive consistent academic guidance, targeted review programs, diagnostic assessments, and structured mentoring well before their final year. These initiatives are designed to build not only legal competence but also the habits of discipline and confidence required for success in the Bar Examinations.
The 84.8% passing average further reinforces MLQU’s mission to produce practice-ready, ethically grounded, and socially responsive lawyers — graduates equipped to serve both the legal profession and the broader community with competence and integrity.
As the University congratulates its 2025 Bar passers, it also acknowledges the invaluable role of faculty mentors, Bar Operations staff, administrators, families, and employers who supported these students throughout their journey.
To the MLQU Class of 2025 Bar passers:
Your achievement is a victory earned through sacrifice, perseverance, and faith in your own potential. You have not only passed the Bar — you have set a standard of excellence for future Quezonian lawyers.
Congratulations, Attorneys!
Welcome to the legal profession. Pro Patria et Jure.
