CHAIRMAN AND PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Warmest congratulations to the graduates of Batch 2025–2026! Your
dedication, perseverance, and achievements have brought pride to your families
and the entire Manuel L. Quezon University community. As you embark on the next
chapter of your lives, may you carry with you the knowledge, values, and
meaningful experiences you gained at MLQU.
Our enrollment period is now well underway, and the campus is once again
filled with excitement and anticipation. We look forward to meeting our
incoming freshmen and warmly welcoming back our students in the upper-year
levels.
We have many plans and initiatives to make your stay at MLQU worthwhile,
relevant to your future, and enjoyable. At MLQU, we believe in maintaining a
healthy balance between life and studies. We fully recognize that mental
well-being is an essential part of every student’s journey, and we remain
committed to fostering a supportive environment where you can learn, grow, and
thrive.
Enrollment is still open. Classes will officially begin on August 3 for
the School of Law and on August 8 for our undergraduate and graduate programs.
Our Senior High School students began their classes earlier and have already
settled comfortably into campus life.
We are also pleased to introduce new members of our academic community,
including Dr. Rexann A. Tarle, the new Dean of the School of Criminal Justice,
and Dr. Margie Holmes, who will teach in our BS Psychology Program, among
others. In keeping with our commitment to strengthening the quality of
education at MLQU, we have been highly selective in bringing in accomplished
and dedicated faculty members — the best of the best — to guide and inspire
our students.
As we prepare for another promising academic year, I encourage everyone
to approach it with enthusiasm, purpose, and an open mind. Together, let us
continue building an MLQU community where excellence, well-being, and
meaningful learning flourish.
We are delighted to have you at MLQU. May the new academic year be a
rewarding and memorable one for us all!
ATTY. PAQUITO N.
OCHOA, JR.
Chairman and
President
All of them have stayed true to the vision of the school founders of becoming nation builders.
You, as a next gen nation builder, now have the opportunity to stand on the shoulders of those who have gone before us and do your part to ensure that their work is carried on into the future.
As we enter a new age powered by new communications technology, MLQU’s brand of education is being repurposed and re-calibrated in a new direction to adapt to the times.
The challenge is not just in the harnessing of new technologies. The challenge is how to make the student serve a meaningful purpose after graduation.
Now more than ever, our society has a need for courses like law, architecture and engineering, accountancy, business management and criminology to build our nation and its foundations must be strengthened.
The challenge is to produce a new generation of excellently-educated patriotic Filipinos to help propel our country to take its rightful place among the most progressive nations of the world.
Committed to rise to the challenge, the new MLQU now opens its doors to empower you to respond to the nation’s call.
Go through this virtual portal and explore and learn more about this venerable institution of almost half a century. Ponder on the kind of course that fits your talent and your aptitude and what your heart tells you.
I’m sure that at the end of your virtual exploration, you will find that MLQU is the ideal place to launch and build your career as a nation builder of the future.
