Quezon University as we officially launch the Manuel L. Quezon Academy, or MLQA Program, in partnership with the Bayan Family of Foundations,” she stated. “This partnership is a visionary leap forward for us, one rooted in mutual dedication to creating meaningful, transformative change in the field of education.”

Walkthrough of Innovation and Collaboration

As attendees waited for the formal ribbon-cutting ceremony, they were invited to tour the Academy’s rooms, which highlighted the programs and initiatives that MLQU and BFF have crafted together. Longtime partners of BFF joined in this walk-through, offering a foretaste of the innovative themes MLQA is set to introduce. The rooms showcased areas where MLQU and BFF will drive transformative education, from technology-integrated curriculums to hands-on social entrepreneurship training, giving guests a sense of the Academy’s vision for cultivating future-ready, agile leaders.

A Dynamic Partnership with a Purpose

The partnership with BFF underscores a mutual commitment to nation-building through education. “Through the MLQA Program, we are not just aiming to enhance our academic offerings; we are working to make our degree programs ever more relevant, agile, and impactful,” Ortile emphasized. By connecting MLQU’s academic programs with real-world industry insights, the Academy aims to provide students with the critical skills and knowledge needed in today’s workforce, bridging the gap between education and industry.

“This initiative is more than an investment in our university’s future; it is a catalyst for revitalizing the Filipino educational experience and supporting national development goals,” Ortile added. MLQA embodies a shared vision for an educational platform that empowers students, faculty, and communities to meet the evolving demands of society.

Enhancing Academic Standards and Entrepreneurship

The heart of the collaboration is the MLQ Academy, envisioned as a hub for social entrepreneurship. This initiative will focus initially on MLQU’s School of Business, elevating the quality of education and training for business students. Through entrepreneurial skills-building, the Academy will foster business acumen and economic innovation, paving the way for graduates who are prepared to contribute meaningfully to society

Fostering Curriculum and Faculty Development

The MLQA partnership also focuses on curriculum and faculty development. This involves integrating contemporary insights and teaching techniques that ensure programs stay relevant in a rapidly evolving world. The collaboration will equip educators with cutting-edge pedagogical tools, enhancing MLQU’s ability to meet high academic standards and ensure students receive a well-rounded, industry-informed education.

Looking Ahead: Building Courses for the Future

Through the MLQA, MLQU is setting the stage for forward-looking courses designed to meet future societal and industry needs. As a space for experimentation and development, MLQA will introduce programs that keep pace with global trends and technological advancements, fostering an environment of innovation and entrepreneurship that responds to the ever-evolving landscape of education and industry.

A Shared Vision for Transformative Education

In her closing remarks, EVP Ortile thanked everyone who contributed to making the MLQA Program a reality, noting that this collaboration is about more than institutional growth—it’s about shaping future leaders. “Together, we can achieve better things and make a lasting impact on our students, our community, and our nation,” she said. She further emphasized, “With the trust and partnership of the Bayan Family of Foundations, we look forward to elevating, innovating, and accelerating towards a more meaningful and mutually beneficial future.”

The launch of the MLQA Program reflects the power of collaboration and shared vision. As MLQU and BFF embark on this transformative journey, the MLQA stands ready to elevate Philippine education, positioning itself as the birthplace of future-forward courses that will shape the leaders of tomorrow.
