Fostering a Healthier Community: MLQU Partners with PrimeHealth Clinic for PhilHealth YAKAP Program

Manuel L. Quezon University (MLQU) continues to champion the holistic well-being of its academic community. In a milestone development last week, the university officially forged a strategic partnership with PrimeHealth Clinic through a formal Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing.

The ceremonial signing was led by MLQU Executive Vice President Lucille P. Ortile, alongside the key leadership team of PrimeHealth Clinic, headed by Chief Executive Officer Efren P. Novilla, Business Head Officer PJ Buñag, and Area Officer Head Paulino D. Roque.

Expanding Access to Quality Healthcare

Through this institutional collaboration, the MLQU community—comprising our dedicated faculty, hardworking staff, and driven students—gains direct access to the Philippine Government’s PhilHealth YAKAP Program.

The implementation of the YAKAP Program reinforces MLQU’s steadfast commitment to accessible, community-centered healthcare. By integrating comprehensive health services within our institutional framework, we ensure that every member of the MLQU family is supported not only in their academic and professional pursuits, but in their physical well-being as well.

This partnership marks a significant stride in creating a safer, more resilient campus environment, truly living up to our enduring motto of Pro Patria et Jure—for country and law, and by extension, for the welfare of our people.
