Manuel L. Quezon University (MLQU) continues to expand its network of academic and professional linkages, taking a definitive step forward through a newly minted partnership with the Human Resource Educators’ Association of the Philippines (HREAP).
Formalized through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), this strategic collaboration is designed to foster robust synergy between higher education and professional organizations, driving mutual growth in research, instruction, and student development.
At its core, the partnership aims to cultivate initiatives that directly benefit the entire MLQU academic community. Key areas of collaboration include:
Research Funding and Initiatives: Unlocking collaborative research opportunities and resource-sharing to advance scholarly output.
Student Support and Development: Empowering learners with industry-aligned competencies and developmental programs tailored to the evolving demands of the professional world.
Faculty Development: Providing educators with continuous professional growth opportunities, advanced training methodologies, and collaborative academic platforms.
The formalization of the partnership brought together key representatives from both institutions to solidify their commitment to educational advancement.
HREAP was proudly represented by Executive Director Dr. Joseph Lardizabal and Director for Membership Mr. Perry David Solosa. Representing MLQU were Mr. Ken Drexel Cadano, Program Coordinator of the BS Psychology program, and Ms. Anne Christabel de Leon, Head of the Marketing and Communication Office.
As MLQU steadfastly upholds its tradition of quality education and community-centric progress, collaborations like this serve as vital stepping stones. By bridging the gap between academe and industry organizations, MLQU and HREAP are laying down solid foundations to empower students, faculty members, researchers, and future professionals for the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow.
