As we step into the month of March

As we step into the month of March, we continue to make great strides in shaping MLQU as a university that truly caters to the needs of working students and professionals who aspire to advance in their careers.

We recently had the honor of conferring the degree of Juris Doctor to our graduates of the Bachelor of Laws program from the School of Law. This momentous occasion underscores our commitment to providing a strong foundation for legal education. Due to the success of this event, we plan to schedule another conferment later this year—possibly aligning it with our Foundation Day in November—to celebrate and recognize more of our accomplished graduates.

Our efforts to expand MLQU’s reach beyond traditional degree programs are also gaining momentum. We have actively pursued partnerships with various government departments and agencies, offering postgraduate programs, micro-credential certificates, and tailored organizational and skills upgrading programs to enhance the competencies of their employees. One of our recent initiatives was a two-week review course for MMDA employees preparing for the Professional Civil Service Exam on March 2. This is just one of the many ways we are tailoring MLQU’s programs to support working professionals in achieving their career aspirations.

In the realm of community engagement, our Extension Services program is running at full throttle. Through our collaboration with Barangay Fairview—our adopted barangay—the School of Business has been leading initiatives that blend professional development with social responsibility. Our recent theme, in line with Valentine’s Day, focused on love—expressed not just in emotions but in practical applications, such as balancing assets and liabilities in a “love balance sheet.” This creative approach reflects our goal of making learning both engaging and meaningful.

As we approach the Midterm Exams from March 12 to 17, I encourage all students to prepare diligently and give their best effort. Your education is an investment in your future, and I have no doubt that your hard work will yield success.

Let us continue to push forward, innovate, and elevate our university to greater heights. Wishing you all a productive and successful month ahead!
