Elementary 

The general function of the elementary school is to provide a progressive and well-balanced academic preparation of its pupils for secondary education by furnishing them with the relevant knowledge, values, attitude and skills necessary for high school work.

In keeping with this general function, the Elementary School aims to achieve the following goals:

  • Produce learners with well-rounded personalities who are ever ready to respond intellectually, physically, and morally in the solution of problems that arise in their respective communities.
  • Turn out learners who can manifest in their activities the sense of responsibility, initiative, diligence, cooperation and responsible leadership in their society.
  • Produce learners who can positively utilize skills in thinking, speaking and writing in the appreciation of our historical and cultural heritage with the end view of strengthening their sense of pride and patriotism for their nation and its people.
  • Produce learners who can adjust themselves to daily life situations and thereby grow with responsibility, critical thinking and self-direction.

 

High School

 

The general function of the High School is preparation of the students for College work.

  • Produce learners who are able and willing to cherish, preserve and develop moral and spiritual values and other aspects of the national heritage.
  • Produce learners who are able and willing to acquire further skills in thinking, speaking and writing.
  • Prepare learners who are responsive to form desirable attitudes for understanding themselves, their own people and other races in a proper place and at a proper time.
  • Develop learners who have the ability, capacity and willingness to acquire skills, knowledge and information essential for making intelligent choice of occupation or career.
  • Produce learners who have the willingness to discover, broaden and heighten their abilities and appreciation for the arts and sciences.
    Develop learners who manifest the ability, capacity and willingness to understand the different branches of human knowledge to promote their physical, intellectual, emotional and social well-being.

 

COURSES OFFERED


      KINDERGARTEN

Description:

   

The curricula of kindergarten emphasize social relationships, physical and mental growth, development of personal habits and attitudes through informal activities. Pupils are instructed in the rudiments of Grade I work.

 
      ELEMENTARY

Description:

   

Consist of a four year primary and a two year intermediate education. A child is admitted to Grade I at the age of six and normally finishes Elementary Education at the age of 12.

 
      HIGH SCHOOL

Description:

This is a secondary education which lasts for 4 years and a student normally finishes high school at the age 16.
 
The high school functions to continue the general education started in the elementary school. It prepares a student for a vocation and / or college education.
